Rihanna Offers Chris Brown Emotional Support On His Court Date

Chris Brown has abandoned his bright silver Sisqo 'do this week in favor of a more natural look, presumably because he didn't want to look ridiculous for his court date in California on Monday. The controversial pop performer appeared extremely nervous, nodding constantly as he sat before Los Angeles Superior Court judge Patricia Schnegg, who ordered an audit of his community service hours a few months ago.

Brown, who in 2009 pleaded guilty to felony assault for having beaten his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in a rented Lamborghini, apparently failed a drug test in Virginia earlier this summer. Though the judge chose not to reprimand Brown, explaining that the test did not explicitly fall under the terms of his probation, she did point out that as a celebrity in the public eye, it was very important for him to follow all laws — particularly while he's still on probation.

"A lot of people look up to you, a lot of kids, so your conduct is important," Judge Schnegg insisted. "Conduct yourself accordingly."

Brown is now due to return to court for another community service status hearing in November, although he has not been found to have violated his probation thus far. Earlier in the day, his ex-flame Rihanna tweeted her support for him a couple of times, stirring up rumors that the two are romantically involved once more.
